Since I have been working in the restaurant kitchen I have been getting home at ‘ungodly hours’ according to my parents and I have been finding it hard to sleep too. I am meant to finish at 11pm, but I have finished at half past 11 for three consecutive nights. This means I get home about quarter to 12 and spend about three quarters of an hour chilling watching telly or something then, absolutely shattered, I go to bed. However when I go to bed I cannot sleep. All I am able to think about is bloody washing up. It sounds SO gimpy but it is stopping me sleeping! I hope it is because I am new to the job and when I get used to it I will return to sleeping normally.

Anyway last night one of the pipes in the kitchen burst and me and another guy who works with me had to suddenly switch roles from humble washer-uppers to fully-fledged plumbers. Yeah, we DID manage to fix the leak and stuff and save the restaurant a £100 call-out fee of an emergency plumber. No, we didn’t get paid any more.

To top things off I was pulled from the state of being not quite awake, not quite asleep by some retarded cat fiddler who find it amusing to ring people up and hang up on them at 8:15 in the morning. Maybe I just let it ring too many times but I prefer to take the accusing stance because I am really piddled off at the moment.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
