I've plugged it in etc (and there are batteries in it). The red light flashes when I press a button, but nothing happens.
If I try to use the remote, to no avail, it then doesn't recognise commands from the joypad. So I have to reset my PS2, and use the joypad to watch my DVD's.
Any advice?

Damn.
Why didn't they include it, does the other controllers not work as well, I know they dont have as many features as the official remote.

Buy the official Sony remote... it's lovely!
DVD Region X is nice, too!
Be warned, though - the new DVD drivers (2.10), supplied with the Sony remote, prevent DVD Region X from working. I've mailed the company to see if they'll be doing an upgrade and will let people know if and when I hear anything...
:-)
