:)
I did have the extensive Dreamcast demo and so far it looks, feels and sounds better than the Dreamcast version. I haven't played it enough to say that the battles are better or that they have cut down the number of battles. So far I defeated the first area boss and from the opening all of the battles from the Dreamcast version were apparent.
It a fantastic game though and I am sure there is a lot more to come in the way of surprises and excellent game play. I haven't sat down and played a Cube or Xbox game in weeks so I think I will sit down and play a game properly for a few hours.
I now have Zelda, Metroid Prime, Skies of Arcadia, NBA Street 2 and some more of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance to play through and as of yet (apart from MGS2) I haven't played very much of the other games listed. Zelda I stopped playing a couple of days after getting it and I haven't been back since. Its a couple of months since I last sat down and played Metroid Prime despite settling more into it and apart from the few hours I have played NBA Street 2 I haven't been back since.
Got a few games to play through at least and hopefully I will start playing my Cube and Xbox games again!
I did notice that the doctor bloke (new to Legends) says "Pirtes" instead of "Pirates" at one bit...
The musical scores are great but the rest is pretty oridinary. When the game is this good though I couldn't give a monkeys about a few SFX. If they had tried to make them something special then you would want to know why it was average. However because gameplay and longetivity were the main focus I don't have any quarrels.
Enjoying it immensly so far. Even more so than with Zelda.
I nearly cried when Imperial Armada played at the start of Legends, it sounded like it was produced in a tin can.
The sound is awful compared to the DC original.
