I actually really like the name. It rocks.

After the N64, I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually called that, either.

Yeah, Nintendo almost rhymes with Apple too.

I'd disagree, imagine the stick you wold get if the Gamecube had been called dolphin from PS2 fanboys!

Actually every Nintendo console in Japan goes under the heading NES... so the codename although more often than not is Dolphin is also NES2,3,4,5... the fifth entertainment system.

The Virtual Boy rocked. Wario Land had some great ideas that could have easily changed how platformers are today and Mario Clash was great fun (for those of you who have played it on Wario Ware).

As for the name, I would have thought Game Boy sounded worse.

That name kicks ass.

Im sure Nintendo will change it to something suitably more "universal" though.
