Sad Geek and proud of it!
The way I look at it is this:
It's not the fact that you're lusting after a game character/computer image - that would be plain sad.
It's what it represents - a strong-minded, independent woman, who (you would assume) is very attractive. Believe it or not, some guys find that very sexy.
I can't speak for the other guys who take it WAAAAAYYYYY too far (I don't have any posters, life-size standees or anything like that - just the games), but I DO know the difference between a game character and a real woman!
It's just that IF Lara was real, she'd be a very hot prospect!
Anyway, surely it's better to idolise a graphical representation of an attractive woman, than a blue hedgehog or fat Italian plumber with a Village People moustache?
