"Just Remember..."

We all argue about video games on here. Some call it pointless. Some say it's not. Is there a right answer? No.

Why do we argue over video games? To try and get others to like what you like? For a bit of fun? Is there a right answer? No, not really.

But there is something we must remember. We may all argue over which console is best, which games are best and whether Shigeru Miyamoto is totally bonkers or not, but there's something really important that we don't appear to mention.

Instead of slating game developers, we should be praising them all the time. We are some of the luckiest people on earth, to be involved in an industry like this. It gives all of us something to do when we're bored. It brings something exciting into our boring, everyday lives. And of course, it stems off into many other great things, such as these forums.

So next time you're about to insult console producer, game, game developer or even a gamer that opposes your views, smile, and just remember that if it wasn't for these people (that's right, if it wasn't for all the Nintys, and even all the Sonyphiles,) you may not have the joy of video gaming in your life.

Please remember this. You can of course continue to talk on these forums about your views on gaming, and of course you can be disappointed or annoyed with an aspect of the gaming world, but something we always seem to take for granted, is the fact that we're allowed to play these feats of technology.

I thank everyone involved in gaming-whether it be with Sony/Nintendo/Sega or Microsoft, a games developer like Konami and Codemasters, game testers, everyone like us who buys the consoles and plays them, and even the old bald guy who one day slotted a £1 into an old Asteroids machine, and played.

I am biased but I never start cussing a console.I consider all the facts before I say something. But I do defend Sony when it comes to big arguments

Well, you have to admit, we all like a good console war now and again. :D

Very True Ant, i try to remember that all the time, and when i do argue *be biased towards sony* i try to always make sure what i say is justified and try to back it up.
