Between now and christmas there are loads of games coming out on PS2, and thank fully they are all looking really promising. The question is, which will make it to number 1?
Personally i think the main contenders will be Pro Evo soccer and Smack down 3. These both will Be out in November and so will have a good head start. But there are many other good games to follow, but who will come out on top?

I am sure shops will come out with their own bundles..Like PS2 plus 3 games like Toys R Us
Dunno actually. If they have, I didn`t realise. Still, pretty much every PS2 owner buys GT3, so it may still be up there even if it isn`t sold with the console. (less likely though)

GTA3 is out end of this month right? so u really think it will still be in the top 5 two months on? i doubt it, with all the other games coming out between then and christmas.

Christmas number 1 in terms of best seller is most likely to be something like The Weakest Link. Smackdown 3 also stands a chance, seeing as its predecessor sold so well.
As for Christmas number 1 in terms of best overall game, that could be any of DMC, SSX Tricky, Jak and Daxter, and more.
Games such as Burnout really don`t stand much of a chance of being a best seller, even if they are good games. No brand name, no instant recognition, no impressive funds to advertise it to bits, which all lead to less people knowing about it and buying it. The only people who buy that game will be those who read the magazines carefully, or look on the net for info. "Casual" buyers won`t just stroll into a shop and pick up Burnout over something they know works, such as Smackdown 3.

I agree. I think WWTBAM or TWL will be no 1. Just because they are family type games. They're likely to be bought as gifts by family members who don't ask what games are actually wanted!
I just hope that if my dad/nan etc. buys it, they keep the receipt!!!
