now all you web designers may think this is a really silly question, but it's genuine, you'll have to take my word for that.
anyway, how do you make buttons works? for my previous websites i've only use links, they seem to have been fine until now, i'm using more HTML stuff. With the buttons so far, i've just put a kink behine it so when the buttons clicked it will go to the link, that's a pretty raw way of doing it, but I think it works (I havn't tried it yet) anyway, i'll be grateful for any help :)

Rollovers can be done easily with javascript.

Yes, they are called rollovers. Have you got Dreamweaver?

no I meant, buttons for different pages, can I use Fireworks do make buttons that move?

e.g. the buttons looks normal until you move the mouse over it or click it?

Do you mean buttons as in Image types, of the kind you see on Web Forms, which tell you to "Submit", or "Join", or "Reset" ... The big Gray ones.

This is the code:

Click Here!

Replace the page.htm with the location you want the button to point to.

Replace picture.jpg with the name of the picture you want.

Change the dimensions to suit the picture.

The alt= part is displayed when you move the mouse over the button...... It will display Click Here!
