I can't understand why people blame videogames for everything that goes wrong in this world, video games are a surreal experience, they show a life on the screen and it is your role as the player to act out this life, that is the whole point of videogames surrealism. So why do (mainly the press) bad mouth these games so much and explain to their readers that if their kids play violent games, they will become homicidal maniacs, why?. GTA3 is no more as violent and worring as Super Mario if you think about it, GTA3 has guns and police but Mario has a large plumber who gets more powers if he eats a mushroom (hmmmmm) and kills creatures by jumping on them. i believe that the point of videogames is to deter you from doing these things, as
it shows in GTA3 that if you shoot people you will be caught and you might die. So Mr and Mrs Press people don't blame videogames as it helps this world be a safer place.

People, please write your feelings on the matter as i would be most interested, thanks

i do like to shoot or kill people in games but i'm not thick enough to do it in real life.

Games don't produce killers delaying them does!!

I love killing people on GTA.

In my opinion, certain people should not be protected from themselves.

It's slowing the herd down, if we were in the jungle, these stragglers would get eaten and forgotten about.
It's natural selection, it's nature. Pure and simple survival of the intelligent.

People that do dumb things are morons. It's nothing to do with a movie. I have Natural Born Killers, Reservoir Dogs, Texas Chainsaw Massacre on video.
I have death metal etc on CD
I have Kingpin, Soldier of Fortune etc on video-games.

Would I consider gunning a class down?
Nope
Would I consider emulating a video-game?
Nope

Because I have more than a knotted cord of matter for a brain and have opposable thumbs, free-will and an IQ higher than my shoe size.

And so you all of you, so who are these toeheads we read about?
Where do they live?
Who raises them like this?

Let them whittle each other down, no big loss.
Sorry to sound hostile, but these plums should all get together and resolve their little emotional difficulties without causing stress or restrictions to those of us with a brain.
