I recorded cybernet and during the break was a new PS2 advert. A deer walks on the road and a car hits it at top speed, The car crashes like it's hit a brick wall then the deer walks off haha, then it says

Thats the clever bit, i watched the game on sky, much better commentators.

How did you see an advert on BBC???

I saw a rather wierd advert today while watching the England Game.

Two men were on a boat fishing, the were throwing fish guts and blood to attract sharks.

He then jumps in? and it says you know when someone has been to the third place?

Strange.

The boat ad was on ITV or C4.

Do any of these adverts come on normal terrestrial tv?

The way I interpret it is:

Not reality, not fantasy... but somewhere in between.

The place you're in when you're engrossed in a game.

what is all this "third place" about? honestly i aint taking the mick, i havnt a clue what its about.

Seen the boat ad? Two guys on a rickety old boat on the ocean.

One guy starts tipping fish entrails/blood over the back to attract sharks, then jumps into the water.

The it comes up "You can tell who's been there."

And then "PlayStation 2 - The Third Place"

V. cool.

sounds similar to an advert i saw about some tyres. the car is about to hit some animal on the road when it brakes sharply. showing the grip of the tyres the car stops dead. as this happens we see a splash of red at the front of the car...which turns out to be the paint flying off the car!
