Yup, I've just phoned SR Chelmsford, and they had 1 PS2 GT3 FirPack left, so I'm going over in a bit to purchase it.

I have been drawn in to the darkside, by SR's stupidly low prices.

I'm still hoping to get a 'Cube or an XBox, so Sony hasn't got me in their dark clutches completely.

Only 50 mins 'til the train goes.....

I told you not to... and now look, you're disappointed...

Well... no-ones perfect... except a true Ninty...

You'll learn from your £259 mistakes... and hopefully not waste money in the future.

I want to get a DVD player as it is.....

This would normally have cost me around £150

so an extra £49 for a new games console isnt that bad! :-)

Is the DVD player good quality on the PS2?

I envy you YH. I want a PS2 but I need about £50 and no one will lend me it. I'll just have to wait.

I haven't played it enough to find out about the actualy game. The graphics aren't that amazing. F355 on the DC was alomost the same. Some of the hoardings on the side of the road look like they've been lifted straight from GT2.

I've done the first two licences and the sunday cup, without a single problem, it's a bit easy so far.

Played a little multiplayer with some mates, surprised that there is only about 5 2 player tracks - 1 of those is just the reverse of one of the others. There must be a way to get mor 2 player tracks, surely?

Got Extreme G 3 as well (had the original for the N64), and played the first multiplayer race, not amazingly impressed with that, but I only did one race, so I'll put some more time into it tomorrow.

All in all, I honestly would have felt ripped off if I'd bought one for £300 with no games or anything at launch.
