How do you guys get so far so quickly? My highest level pokenmon is at Lv 33 and I've just defeted the 5th Gym master. I've been playing for 25 hours. Why am I so slow?

Um Tribute, in the previous games Magikarp evolved into Gyrados at Lv30 not Lv20.
