I dont think SR can compete anymore.

Maybe profit margin are already too slim.

Rather than do an "across the board" price cutting promotion, maybe they should concentrate on certain sectors?

For example, one month would be PC, the next month GC etc.

With larger price cuts within a smaller range, it might encourage more buying.

Having said that, I'm not sure how Game can make much of a profit with their prices. It must be something to do with having so many stores and economies of scale. SR probably find it harder to maintain a profit margin due to less number of stores.

Snuggly has obviously wandered off, funny how SR staff do that when you compare their prices to other online retailers. What happened to healthly competition ?

Clearance is an acronym for "old crap at high prices" (not really, but George Best tranlates into GO GET BEERS !)
