Im really really in need of a cheap laptop (£500-). PLease tell me!!!

I've found a good deal for a laptop on Dell Business.

£699 for a celeron 900mhz, 128mbs ram, 10gb hdd, modem the lot.

my dad's buying it and i want one when i've got the cash. you also get a nice little palm top free at the moment :)

I would suggest that you look on E-Bay.

Buy second hand would be my advise. Look through local papers.

what's the deal with the Boxx PC's?
are they just selling you the hard drive tower thingy?

dont think so, all i seen from them are the Maxx and the Boxx

do SR sell laptops?

I saw a Laptop today, 1000mhz pentuim 3, 512MBram, 20GB hard drive, and DVD/CD re-writer. £1299. Not bad, i might get one.

personally, if I was going to get a laptop, i'd either buy it from a well-known website, local shop or free-ad, swapping sites aren't very reliable, well not if your going to exchange for cash or expensive items.

Global but you can decide who you swap with, e.g. Aussies because they have PAL games, a search on laptops came up with 31 results, mostly 'wanted' but quite a few 'Avaliable'
it's a good site, what ever it says i've swapped about 10 games and a mega drive, all great stuff, everyone does registered posts and most people are very co-operative :) Webswappers give great results too, I swapped some good games there.
