Those delightful little chaps at Sega have confirmed that a PS2 version of Super Monkey Ball (yes that game all Nintendo Gamecube fans want) will be making an appearance at the Tokyo Games Show. With the Gamecube several months off in the UK, we may even see a release for this game on the PS2 before the Gamecube.
They should be pleased by that shouldn't they.

Super Monkey Ball looks excellent - Im going to claim it for my GAD win for GC!! I know its due out on PS2 sometime but not sure when!!

I've not heard anything myself about Super Monkey Ball being multiformat at all. I thought it was one of those Nintendo exclusives myself.
Anyway, I'm going to be getting it for the GameCube and I doubt my brother would want it for his PS2 anyway.
Though I'm pro Nintendo, I'd actually be quite happy for Sega to release this game on the PS2. Then Sony fans wouldn't be able to use that stupid excuse so much about Nintendo having loads of cutesy kiddy games...
