More on Zelda's level then.
But it's still got the same classic gameplay from titles such as Banjo Kazooie, Conker and Mario 64.
Now admit that ALL of these games were class and that you'd have enjoyed them if they'd been on your system.
Come on, overcome your bias!
Jak and Daxter's a more in depth storyline aimed at older audiences, wouldn't say it's mature but it's definatly more complex :-)
I renewed my SR membership last week and claimed this.
Oh and i have 15 reddies to use, what else should i get?
No offence but are you a ninty?
Got me there ;-)
And not
> many Platform games were classed as kiddies on PS. Crash was not.
It was sort of.
Basically, when Mario 64 and Mario Kart arrived to the N64, compared to all the "fashionably violent" games on the Playstation, Saturn and PC.
Platformers and cartoony games got labled as "kiddie" games from then.
And devellopers went on to live up to it.
The first Crash game was a solid classic challenging platformer.
But, it was a cartoony franchise, and all of these are "kiddie games" (so the stupid industry analysts thought) and the sequels were suited to become kiddie games by being short and easy.
Donkey Kong 64. You can tell that was designed for kids as well. It just threw challenge out of the window.
Rare and Naughty Dog have every intention of proving the stereotype wrong though.
