Nintendo could also do with seeing the UK as it's own territory, and releasing games quicker there accordingly. And when Sony/Microsoft open their wallets to buy out the latest Prince Of Persia, Conflict Desert Storm, etc exclusivity, they might want to put up a fight.

Nintendo should cut the price of the GameCube to say £99.99 + Any Game. Then advertise it like hell. And when F-Zero, 1080, MGS: TS, Final Fantasy and the rest come out, give them all a Metroid Prime-esque advertising scheme.
They should also get their ass in gear as regards to shelf space and retailer support, perhaps sending some money the way of Argos and the like. They need to do the same with developers such as Codemasters and Acclaim, securing those multiformat titles.
That's all it's going to take to save the GameCube in Europe. We just need those idiots, David Gosen and Shelly Friend, to realise it.

I don't really see why anyone should care. It doesn't matter if they've stopped selling the gamecube because we've all already got one (well, you ARE on the Nintendo forum) and has anyone here honestly ever bought GameCube games from argos?
