The new catalogue apparently doesn't stock the Gamecube, and Argos have apparently spoken saying crappy sales are too blame.

I beg to differ. When i was working in Argos a few christmasses ago, the number of PS2 orders were phenomenal.

To be honest I dont think argos sell much games console stuff anyway! When people want ps2, xbox or GC stuff I can assure you that the first perosn they turn to is deffinatelty not argos. Unless you have one of those grans that buys everything from the argos catalogues and sleeps with it in their bed.

Argos is the UK's largest toy retailer. If they are dropping the Gamecube i say "oh dear" and move on.

Retailer XXXX has slashed prices on more titles today, guy I talked to reckons they're downsizing the selection of titles available in XXXX - many had 75% off...

I bought my Gamecube from Argos.

170 quid for a GC, Extra controller, memory card and a choice of four (Good) games.

Nintendo have pumped twice as much money into the massive European market in the last 2 years than America.
