personally im going to get fifa 2004 on pc and pes 3 on the ps2. there are problems with fifa, but can you tell me the difference between pes 1, pes 2 (and possibly now pes 3) except for team updates which are pointless seeing as they havent got their pal liscence yet for the names.

a good point. old games can be great buys.

if you have too..

excellent

extremely highly recomended

fast paced and good close to the truth games

also add on dark chronicle and music 3000 as good games here

fifa 2004, pes3, rugby 2004, tony hawk underground, gt4 and ssx 3 all come out in roughly november.

a good range there.

When you say a "new game", do you mean new to you, or new for PS2?

New for PS2:

Eyetoy is pretty good fun, but recent releases haven't been all that amazing. There are bound to be absolutely loads of amazing new releases coming up in october/november/december if you can wait that long though.

New for you. If you don't have any of these, then I recommend giving them a whirl:

- Final Fantasy 10 platinum and still my favourite game on PS2.
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for general amazingness.
- TimeSplitters 2 for amazing multiplayer and great lastability.
- Burnout 2 or Gran Turismo 3 for top notch driving (GT3 platinum).
- Metal Gear Solid Substance, if you don't have that, or MGS2.

Those are some of the main, and most obvious titles out there, but its easy to miss some of the less popular games that are just as good:

- Kingdom Hearts, Disney and Squaresoft coming together.
- Ico, don't have it myself, but its had great reviews.
- Project Eden, got this recently, great for co-op enthusiasts.

I doubt that's helped at all, but hold out hope!

A very good suggestion, there.

But I doubt you will.
So - Ape Escape 2, Tenchu 3. And you're happy.
