The zelda bonus disk is pretty good. Its teh first time nintendo have ever done anything like this but you certainly get your moneys worth. The two game idea is a bit rubbish as they are practically identicle but the whole package is still good. Throwing in a few movies and clips, now tahts teh spirit nintendo. Thats the thing that is going to make people buy the games and keep fans loyal. I hope we see more of the same stuff coming alongside the likes of any big future titles. a copy of mario kart 64 along with double dash would have been a diamond package!

The movies on the disc are pretty rubbish but still it gives you a look at the likes of 1080 and f zero. I say keep em coming...

They should come with a playable demo disk. Fzero should have come with a 1080 and Mariokart demo's.

Yes, that would probably be correct in that instance.

Maybe not with Zelda but with Rogue Leader 3 they are developing a multiplayer mode for Rogue Leader 2 which will be bundled with the game.

No, that wouldn't have been the case.

Yeah im going to florida.Orlando for a week. What exactly is the freeloader? Is it a chip or something you plug into the back? I will buy a memory card whilst im out there just in case. Can you get a freeloader in a shop or do you have to get it off the interent? do you recomend any where?

Its definitley won't be hitting Europe anytime in the near future. You can pick up a Freeloader for around £9.99 which is what you need to get your PAL Cube to read US and JAP discs. Different regions require different memory cards however I believer the US and PAL Cubes run on similar functions so games from both regions can be saved to one memory card. Animal Crossing takes up a whole memory card up in itself and thats why online retailers were giving away with free AC memory card with every purchase.

Some places online have it for £32.99 but then you have shipping on top of that. However if you are going then call in at one of the EB stores over there as they will have it at a pretty cheap price. Where abouts are you going in America? In the Florida Mall there are a couple of decent music and game shops that will stock it.

Alastair. How much do you reckon it would cost to import animal crossing form america? What else do i need to get to get it to work? Im going over there next week and i know i will be able to get it somewhere. Do you reckon it will ever come out in europe?

Zelda was fantastic but as I said apart from a couple of videos I haven't checked out bonus disk. What ever time was spent doing the bonus disk surely could have been spent adding bits to the main game?! Anyway, if they do release more bonus disks then I aren't complaining. The chances are I wouldn't use a bonus disk unless one came with Golden Eye on it (highly unlikely without RARE). As yoy say, it could be looked at as a step closer to demo disks which isn't a bad thing at all.

You cant exactly say they didnt spend enough time on zelda and spent more on the bonus disk! I just look at it as one step closer to demo disks. Nintendo are taking a small step into the world of playable previews. thats the way i see i anyway.
