If they're not impressed with Zelda then they either they don't like Adventure games (in which case Goldeneye and Perfect Dark and Turok etc... can fill their needs), or they're just stupid.

Yes in way Nintendo is a little like a dictator, it limits your choices in a way to make you do something that they want you to do. However i think that the N64 had far superior games than the PSX, if you go into a games store, you find that there are metres of shelf space just for PSX, but over 4/5 of this quantity is made up of poorly knocked out games. Where as the N64 has about 1/2 a metre of shelf space and has 4/5 of quality games. The fact that Sony saturated the market with games seems to have run in their favour, but the N64 is clearly the more superior console. Sony lured the consumer by dangling more meat(games) in front of their face than Nintendo did to its customers, but the meat which Nintendo dangled was more tender and delicious than that of its rival, however the consumer flocked to go for quantity over quality, and that is the difference between Sony and Nintendo.

That's just not true.
The Playstation did have MORE quality games, but none of them reached the quality of Zelda, Goldeneye or Perfect Dark...
And that was without the multiplayer.
N64 went for quality while the Playstation went for quantity.
Both have their own advantages.
