w00tage!

What a quality game. The hitting system is slightly different; A to start the swing, then A for topspin or B for backspin on the ball, and Z to swerve, with the C-stick doing the camera work. The controls are good, and certainly better than previous Mario Golf games.

The graphics are brilliant! Great backgrounds, detailed grass and the water effects are quality. The trees look nice as well. The landscape is just amazing. Characters look great too. The intro looks great, and it's comical as well.

The audio is much different than it has been in previous games. It's more 'bouncy' than before, and it's not as relaxing, but I suppose it keeps you on your game... or something. :-D The characters are all cool, and they sing songs before you pick them. Heheh.

Speaking of characters, there's the usual lot; Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, DK, Bowser, Peach and Daisy. But there's also new characters - Diddy, Boo, etc.

There's just so much to do. Tournaments, hit the ball through rings, speed golf, coin challenge, and about 4 other modes. And on top of that there's a great multiplayer. It's too fast for my liking though, speeding through shots. Ah well.

Ooh, and when I was getting the game, NGC were on the phone asking for a copy to be sent to them for review. Which means I've got the game before them, and therefore am better than them. Haha. And apparently, I'm one of the first people in Britain to get this game. So go me.

Sooooo, all of you, go and buy it now. Or import. Yeah, import it, seeing as there's no official release date for here (and it's rumoured January 2004). IMPORT!

Enough of the bragging, off to play Toadstool Tour. w00tage! :-D

I'm not sure how or why I'd wet myself, but yeah, something like that.

It doesn't matter what the price is; this game is worth it.

Chill out chaps!
Let the guy buy his game wherever he wants.
Bet if AfroJoe could drag himself away from Mario Golf and see everyone squabbling over where to buy the game and how much to pay for it he'd wet himself! :) (couldn't say p**s)

Its £31.99 on Ebay and it would be with you within 3 days if you paid by credit card. What more do you want? If you want to pay £30 just so you can ring them up for a little chat then go ahead.

That's great news (that it is actaully worth getting). I should recieve this tomorrow! You quite right not many import shops had Mario Golf in yesterday (I'm guessing that you did Next Day delivery), That's actaully quite cheap for them though as it's normally £60 plus £3 next day delivery, Very dear but (this is worth putting in capitals) A SUPERB SERVICE WITH DELIVERY AND SALESMAN ON THE PHONE, so you get what you pay for as the old saying goes. :)

Oh it does, eh? We should make them fight. Or not. :D

I want Mario Golf. Mmmmm.

Yesterday my Dad accidenally erased all our holiday photos from the SmartMdia card. When I get home, I'm going to get some software that will (hopefully) get them back.

We had a genius photo of a dog wearing a hat. Playing the guitar.

I played it briefly in a shop yesterday, it's amazing.
I checked Amazon- October

SR- January

So, it works fine with a freeloader then? I'll pick one up from a store while I'm still here.

Internet via TV is weird, no one use it. It hurts meh eyes, probably because it's Netscape and the tv in the room has weird clarity.

I am off for a while, I might check my hotmail later and pop in.
