With a slight difference this time.

I was just wondering what perspective all you GT3 gamers out there played on; First person or Third person?

I personally play on third person mode, chiefly because I like to see my shiny car as I'm zooming along.


So which and why?

I use 3rd but can use 1st if I want. I have always stuck to 3rd as when games like Mario Kart came out for the SNES only 3rd person was available so I had to use that, and I've stuck with it. I dont mind playing 1st person as some games you have to e.g. F355. I think that for me I can drive better in 3rd person.

double ditto, i cant play in the third person view. I cant control the car. On all racing sims i use first person.

Ditto Wookiee - much greater feeling of speed, and it makes me learn the courses - I just can't corner in 3rd person now, whereas I always used it on GT1..

I too use the 1st person view, you can control the car a lot easier.

Yeah, I was originaly much better in 1st person, but I'd rather struggle and see the shinyness of my car :-)

First-person - the only way to play! You get a much better sensation of speed, but you do have to learn the courses quickly.

Can get on with the 3rd-person view at all - I lose all control of the car.

Yeah definetely 3rd person because of the judging and because it is easier to spot obstacles on the way,It is easier to react with the 3rd person view

Third person so I can judge corners better.
