And Nintendo are not just doing well in Japan in comparison to X-box... Nintendo are trouncing them in every possible way...
It is far less dramatic in the west.
"Xbox remains a distant second behind PS2. Through May, according to data from NPDFunworld, the PS2 had a U.S. installed base of 17.7 million units.
The console market has largely become a two-horse race for share, with Nintendo Co. Ltd.'s 7974.OS GameCube underperforming all expectations and lagging behind the Xbox and PS2 in most markets.
Since the November 2001 launch of Xbox, Microsoft said it has sold 9.4 million units worldwide, and by June 2004 it said it expects that number to rise to between 14.5 million and 16 million units. The total units sold during fiscal 2003 was 5.5 million.
The majority of the installed base to date, 6.2 million units, is in North America, with 2.2 million in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and 1 million in the Asia-Pacific region, which is primarily the Japanese market. The Xbox, by Microsoft's own admission, has struggled in Japan."
Nintendo and Microsoft are constantly changing position. MS holds 2nd place still.

It's doing poorly in the UK, but sales across the rest of Europe compensate for that (places like Germany love GameCube), and things are incredibly close in America.
It's not hard to believe, and frankly, I'd trust Reuters over some Microsoft PR knobhead anyday :D

The only game out of that list that would temp me to fork out £30+ is F-Zero. The rest can wait till there at least £20!
:P

And F-Zero, Viewtiful Joe, Mario Kart and Skies.
They're worth it.
Definately.
Oh,and Rogue Squadron 3.

He is. No doubt about it.

Let's hope that turns out to be true! Knowing Nintendo it'll probably take them a year to make a version of Tetris! But perhaps they might finally be changing for the better!

Yer, true! Think game prices will gradually reduce over the years. Just wish they would hurry up and do it. Not that it bothered me too much. I always wait for the 2 for £30 offers, or wait to see games in the 2nd hand section at half the price. Never buy games full price anymore. Well unless they have Zelda in the title! Or maybe 1080 if that ever gets released!
