Actually it doesn't, you just can't seem to find the right one for yourself, and that is if you actually have a PS2. I'm guessing your one of those intellectuals who's probably played one or two games at a mates house for an hour or so and come up with the assumption that because you couldn't derive entertainment from them, all PS2 games are the same.
If not then I'd have to say you've not been looking around much. The PS2 has an extensive back catalogue of game from both PS2 and the original PSX, which means you should have by now found something that suits your taste.
Either way, coming into this forum and telling "us" to ditch our console because you think it's crap is extremely petty minded and arrogant.
