"Gamecube is good"

In response to Kid Rocks boring, yawnfest in the Nintendo forum.

Now I know you will all have a go, but you must admit Gamecube is good, with games like Metroid Prime and Rogue Leader which look better than most PS2 games, admit it you know you want to.

i'm not really THAT worried about the graphics....they aren't THAT different.....
it's the games....i just don't particularly like nintendo games cos they don't suit me

Rogue Leader, Metroid and Resident Evil on the Gamecube all do something the PS2 can't at the moment, produce very high quality textures. The situation is getting better on the PS2 all the time, but it cannot compete with the GC at the moment. What the PS2 does do better than the GC is polygons. The PS2 can pump an amazing number of polygons around on the screen which would allow the PS2 to produce higher quality models, have more of them on the screen at once and run faster than it would on the Gamecube. When comparing the systems, screenshots from the Gaecube will always look that extra bit better than the PS2, as will screenshots from the Xbox, but when you see PS2 games running on a TV screen, the amount going on and the speed of the action will be better than anything else, that's if developers ever get to grips with working it.

I have said it before and i will say it again, the GC and X-box are both very good and will do well.Though i feel its too late to catch PS2, especially now the PS2 is only £200.

i don't like flight things like rogue squadron...and the screenshots of it aren't that impressive...
as for metroid prime....well i'm not very excited about that....

perfect dark 2 (i'm spoiled by the likes of counterstrike on the pc)
super monkey ball ( i saw it in a cex shop the other day and it looked quite funny but it's not something i would get)....

one of the only things i do want for the gc though is the resi evil series.....

The gamecube is fair good and I'm getting on of the black ones, but it still remains the "rareware" machine :-)

But still it looks rubbish to me

it comes in different colours like gold silver blue black!
