Cool eh? nVidea's graphics chip runs the current Xbox hardware - But Xbox 2 will have ATI powered hardware.
But what about the GC? You reckon they are gonna swap? nVidea N5!

He forgot boobs... everybody likes boobs.
Whereas for PC, custom-written code like this is not really seen, except of course for the shadow routines in the upcoming Doom 3 which will only work on a GeForce.

Exactly, every PC game, no matter the spec needed, runs on Nvidia and ATI cards, sure performance differs sometimes but not by much. Making Xbox games usable on the next Xbox is a great idea and I'm sure MS will do this, it also prolongs the life of the original console and games.
PC games run on any graphics card - Regardless of chipset.
So Xbox 2 will be able to run Xbox games with no problems.
I highly doubt that the games are that inflexible as to needing an Nvidia card rather than an ATI one, if they are similar enough.
Maybe.......
Off ya go - Leave this thread.
There was some story about them being happy chappies.
