I want to buy a PS2 but don't know what game to get maybe you could help me choose between GT3 or another game

And get Code Veronica too. It doesn't matter whether it's been out for ages on Dreamcast or not, it still rules.
Being a Ninty, my say probably carries about as much weight as a Midway PS2 title, however... from my experiences, GT3 would be a great choice. I know little of the game options, but just racing about in a car against a mate is good enough!
The graphics are smooth, the cars are a-plenty and the 'longetivity' will surfice. Some say it's just GT2 with spruced up graphics and 3D backgrounds, but whatever it is its fun.
My reputation may preceed me, and you might not take much notice, but if you're unsure about which title to get GT3 is your baby, whether you like car racing or not it is still a worthy of your cash.
Football games on the PS2 also seem good. This is Football 2002 has just arrived in force and it looks to be a contender for the Fifa crown. The grpahics are smooth and hopefully the physics and playability will meet in the middle giving the best of both Fifa and ISS worlds.
Red Faction is an FPS game... quite good I suppose, but over-rated because youcan blow up walls.... if you havce a decent PC get your dad to pick it up!
I'd personally go with say... Fifa 2002, or maybe GT3, they're both fun games with at least a two player multi-player.
