It's really no problem though, just causes a bit of dizziness when staring at the scrolling text.

Right click the desktop, properties, appearance tab, effects, make sure there is a tick in "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" and make sure it says "Clear Type". Whilst not explicitly mentioned as benefitting TFT monitors a Windows XP book I had from the local library stated it as being primarily for them. On my installation I had to turn it on, but others may have had it on by default, so no one whine at me if this is the case okay ?

Might be for you, but no problems here ! There's an option in Windows XP to change the font display to suit TFT monitors, you have that turned on ?

But the older plasma ones are coming down nice and cheap, so that's a vewwy good thing.
I'm very picky about how games display when I play them, so I'd know if I was getting ghosting or anything. Certainly Raven Shield plays at 1280x1024 with none, as does Vice City and all my other games (9).
