So, SR News reports that Quake 4 is switching back to being a primarily single player experience ? What with Half Life 2 doing likewise, and games which try to mix the two such as Counter Strike Condition Zero not exactly being praised, who thinks this could be the beginning of a mass multiplayer game bubble bursting ?
To my mind, the great games have always been single player.
