"Counter Strike players come to me now......."

..........and have a game of Counter Strike. I know loads of us here on the forums enjoy playing Counter Strike and that a few members of oV are on here so I was wondering if anyone was interested in a game right now or a little later on. I would have sorted this out on MSN but it has gone down on me again.

So, anyone up for it?

I never used to play it until 1.3 came out so I am fine and dandy, not annoyed by it at all. I used to lag so badly when I was running AOl through a 56k modem. It was like I was cursed eternally.

Come on people...we've got a few hours of server time booked tomorrow evening, if anyone ever gets some, tell me and I'll be along.

yeah, the voice thing was a bad idea...

I can't stand 1.3. The voice coms has just ruined what use to be a perfectly good game.

Now the voice comms can you be used as a new weapon. Say hi and half the server lags and then you get killed.

The only good addition is the introduction of the de_survivor map which I've been playing for ages on lan games. It's just quality.

The rest however is pants if you have a modem.

not fair! I have been trying to get it working for nearly a week now!

Ah well, mine is working fine Darkus. I got my bro' to download it earlier today on our brand spanking new broadband modem which is nice.
