The kids are at school, we're at work and it's lunchtime.

So, I say we put half-baked thread topics in here for our own amusement.

I shall begin:

Glass.
Who the hell stood on a beach and thought "Well this sand stuff is ok, but I reckon I can super-heat it and then I'll be able to see through it and it will be hard"

Too much time on their hands.

I saw an experiment which tested this theory.

Think about it... most toast is made/carried at kitchen unit/table/waist height. It is always placed butter side up. When its dropped it rotates and the distance it travels to the floor is only short so it rarely would be able to rotate one full circle before hitting the floor. 9 outa 10 times thats butter side down.

Solution:

Build tall kitchen work surfaces and tables, or carry the toast high above your head when transporting it.

OR

Butter both sides.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
