What I want to know is 'What makes a sandwich? The bread or the filling?'
Do not say a combination of the two!
Sorry, but there is not a lot of people about.
I'm particularly fond of thick slicw white kingsmill bread. If I have any of this in, I know my sandwich will be good, regardless of what I put in it; could be cheese, ham, turkey, crisps, etc.
However, if we have some crappy cheapo pants bread from the news agent, because somebody neglected to go to Tesco that week, I'm fairly sure that my sandwich will be sub-standard - even if I put Cheese, marmite AND crisps in it!
Thus, for me anyway, bread is more important. I hope that helps some of you out!
Otherwise it'd be an omlette
Otherwise it's just two bits of bread.
