"What MMORPG?"

I've always wanted to try an MMORPG but I don't know wich is the best one out now. I was planning on getting Star Wars Galaxies but that didn't get very good reviews. I've looked at things like EVE Online and Anarchy Online etc. but most have mixed reviews...making me very confused and unsure about which MMORPG I should get. Any ideas on which I should get?

It costs £10 a month and I've already payed once :)

Yep,you guys are right about going solo in Eve.The size of Eve is massive and its easy to lost and confused.Best thing to do is what you are already planning - get together as a group,or you could try joining one of the many corporations out there.

Other than Eve,another choice might be Neocron online.I've only played the demo though - but it was good.

The game will probably arrive tomorrow (friday) so I'll try to find some kind of meeting point. I'll let you know.

Don't know how many times I'll be reregistering, It'll depend on it's goodness I suppose.

But I think if me you and Lipe were to meet up, we'd have to set somewhere, and not just drift around aimlessly.
There's a lot of space out there to get lost in.
I'm just a little upset that I'm finally getting it at the end of the 6 weeks, but meh.

You know that game called the Sims? well it's got an online version in the US, but sales for the game have been poor hense why it hasn't been released over here yet.
