Hello all,
heres a topic anyone can join in with.
(feeble link: it is a sort of a game)
start with a question,
whover gets the answer right first can start a new question.
(nothing too difficult please)
I'll start:

Which song opens with its first two lines as

"I got my head checked,
by a jumbo jet"

1) explain chaos Theory

Chaos theory is the qualitative study of unstable aperiodic behavior in deterministic nonlinear dynamical systems. A dynamical system may be defined to be a simplified model for the time-varying behavior of an actual system, and aperiodic behavior is simply the behavior that occurs when no variable describing the state of the system undergoes a regular repetition of values.

Aperiodic behavior never repeats and it continues to manifest the effects of any small perturbation; hence, any prediction of a future state in a given system that is aperiodic is impossible. Assessing the idea of aperiodic behavior to a relevant example, one may look at human history.

History is indeed aperiodic since broad patterns in the rise and fall of civilizations may be sketched; however, no events ever repeat exactly. What is so incredible about chaos theory is that unstable aperiodic behavior can be found in mathematically simply systems.

These very simple mathematical systems display behavior so complex and unpredictable that it is acceptable to merit their descriptions as random.

2) if there is one give me the formula
> for chaos Theory

Chaos theory is generally modelled by any nonlinear equation, for example from fluid dynamics you can take the three equations:

dx/dt=delta*(y-x)
dy/dt=r*x-y-x*z
dz/dt=x*y-b*z

and use them to model the behaviour of a chaotic system in a 3-dimensional space

3)what is the closest star to earth called?
The Sun

4)using maths
> prove to everyone that goatboy is actually cowboy...USING MATHS!!!

If goat = 3 and cow = 3 then goat = cow

Therefore, given the above goatboy = cowboy

All Saints destroyed it and the original was by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Ok, music stuff. Or my tracklist stuff.

1) How long, in minutes, is In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida?

2) What's the main music used in Platoon called?

3) Who did an excellent remix thing of On Her Majesty's Secret Service?

4) Who utterly destroyed Under the Bridge, and who did the original?

5) Name the two places/people communicating with eachother in a rather famous David Bowie song.

I don't know the answer to this one. I am officially stumped. Ah well, back to astrophysics studies...
