This year, Panzer Dragoon Orta.
Yes it's just point, turn and shoot, but I love the desolate atmosphere of the story and the trance-like ambience of the destruction. It doesn't beat REZ - which for me is the best gaming experience ever created - but it has other qualities that puts it close behind.
I'm expecting OTOGI to be my favourite by the end of the year.
