Getting back to the point, from what I gathered from what my m8 Big Dave said that if you take all the case off, rub it down with sand paper, and blast that son of a monkey two or three times!
Again off the subject, but people, if you listen to MP3 on your PC, dont hestitating in purchasing an amplifier and some speakers and bounce dem light fittings around ALL DAY LONG!
I picked up a Kenwood 1030F with some Eltax Speakers in a funky beech colour from www.richer-sounds.com for around 160. Then get a phono lead and cross it over to a headphone socket plug that'll fit your PC.

My overall heat reduction system is as follows:
2 Exhaust blowers on the rear of the case
1 Heat extractor on the hard drive
Ram sinks on the GF3 and ram
Heatsink + ORB on CPU
Front forced extractor vent
2x Case 92mm blowholes
Which is a hell of a lot of cooling, I don't care to take any risks with something overclocked like this and with a load of lighting in there too..
Personally, I thought the Fan Doc was just to monitor the fan speed and check the temperature probes on the mobo, but feel free to correct me..
+ can you run delta fans straight off the Mobo? I read that it's not powerful enough and you need that 'fan doc' thing (£40 thing, sits in a cd slot, has an orange backlit screen)
My computer is now a nice shade of Taihiti (sp?) blue. I sprayed everything, case, drives front sides, the lot. What I've seen so far looks cool, but at the moment my comp consists of some bits of metal a mobo and a hard drive. That's about it, apart from the external stuff. No CD Drives, no floppy, no front part of PC, no side panels. That kind of thing.
I've just finished stealthing my DVD drive (hiding it behind a panel and adapting the button/LED), I'll be spraying the floppies tomorrow and hopefully getting a baybus together in electronics at some point.
I detest plain beige cases, and the easier it is for people to do some mods, the better - this could be along with various other guides (written by us) in areas of PC software/hardware, but I could see SR objecting as people may stop going to the shop to have their RAM fitted for extortionate prices, but on the other hand it could bring in a lot of external traffic - I often trawl the web for guides such as these, to pick up the basics from and then modify to suit my needs and ideas.
Anyone else think this idea has some sort of future?
