Create an emergency recovery boot diskette. You'll still need the serial number (or I do with the one that came with my old PC) but you wont need the disc.

I know ! Maybe he's stuck in a time warp, he typed this message 8 years ago, and it got misdirected, lost amongst the internet, delayed by piles of spam everywhere, to finally, 8 years late, make it here.
What I want to know is why anyone would bother getting an illegal copy of Windows 95...
