i just come to my senses. I've been using toad all this time. you gotta use one of the fat characters to get a really good time. I'm gonna try and use wario to beat er-no's time. I have already broke my lap record twice with im.

yes there is a shorcut, the stragiht with all the speed ups. instead of following the bend, keep going straight towords the wall, u will see a one of those bounce things. with the mushroom used u should be able to jump high enough to clear loads of the track!
