Hey try this challenge in quick race mode.

HOw many shortcuts are there? I can get a lap time of about 27 just going around normally and hitting the cut near the end where you jump the road. Anything else? OR shall I just get familiar with the track.

It is true what he says about the GBA being a faster Mario Kart game than the original... and it is impossible for you to record a time of under one minute on the SNES version...

... seriously.. impossible.

trust me on this, the SNES time trials were on 100cc, and thus much slower. MY snes is right next door in the next room with mario kart in the slot.

Are you *sure* it's not the same as the SNES one?

I (alas) haven't got my SNES any more. But I'm sure that I got a time under one minute on that as well.

Maybe it was in the 150cc race though...

yessss, but the GBA version is faster than the snes version...i just got 56 seconds with bowser. its not the same as the SNES one.

On the GBA version (which is the same as the SNES version) on time trial (5 laps) I can do all 5 laps in about 57 seconds, with DK.
