I know what your saying. I played my Dreamcast online all the time, unlike most people.

Once you get to know some people though and play games with them reguarly, you'll suddenly finding yourself having no need for offline games. If you're buying it for the online stuff then make sure you're patient with it. At first i hated Xbox Live, thought it was the crappest thing I'd ever seen.

Doom III (not just becauses its on Xbox) is rather unappealing. It does look sodding amazing, but they said, it would do not much new stuff, except have fewer and more scary monsters. Doom II + gameplay? Rather than be 'revolutionary' like Half Life 2 will (try) to be, it will be more of an advanced evolution.

All of them there dont appeal to me instantly.
Anyone who can sell a console before Viewtiful Joe, F-Zero, Pikmin 2, Resident Evil 4, Mario Kart and Killer 7 come out, is clearly insane.
