"Stop moaning would you?"

This is just me, speaking for me about my feelings towards those that feel it their concern to moan about winning/not winning GAD or FAD.
For newbies, JATS and those just too bloody stupid to work it out, here's how it works:

Someone posts.
Someone wins a game (because SR staff feel it worthy)
Someone tells their mate about it, he/she joins and posts, hoping to win / someone wins again and keeps posting.

It's good business.
And allows people to win free stuff now and then.

Why do some people feel the need to whine on and on and on about this?
This isn't aimed at only Dan, this is aimed at every single person that "i thought i'd win and i didnt and that sucks and that took an hour to do and that didnt even win and blahlblahblahblahblah"

Be damn grateful that a site (one of the only ones I've ever seen) gives you free stuff for doing nothing more than writing.
Who cares if someone comes here once and wins then leaves?
What business is it of anyone but SR employees?

And for anyone having difficulties with that question?

I haven't won GAD in months and months and months.
Ok, I won some DVDs and I'm grateful as heck to SR for that.
However, I haven't won in a while.
Do I moan?
Nope
Do I post any less because of it?
Nope

I post away like always, and it doesn't enter my head to think "Hey, cool I should win for that one"
How arrogant do you have to be to presume that you should win because you "spent ages writing that" or "i worked really hard on that"?
It's down to staff to choose winners.
Not you and not me.

Jesus, they even changed the rules so there are more chances to win, and some people STILL moan?
Grow up and behave like intelligent people instead of baby birds in the nest, lifting your head back and sqwauking every time momma bird flies past with food.

Heh, I'm a bit of a victim to the old "Why didn't I win for this..." disease, but that was only because I really, really wanted GT3 and I was skint.

I must admit, that all my wins have been utter surprises. It's weird that, even during my GT3 posting-frenzy, I've always had to be told that I've won. I don't expect to win, and I don't post to win. The only reasons I ever do post a new topic is if either I'm bored, I've got something to say or the forum has died and needs some life injecting into it.

I love arguing about stuff, and if I win for anything I say, then great. I have far too many games at the moment, and I don't really know what to claim if I win again. All the games I have chosen for my GAD wins (apart from GT3) are games that I normally wouldn't have bought. That just goes to show how little me, and I hope everyone else, cares about GAD.

Someone once defined a regular. The definition is not 100% accurate, but it goes a long way.

"A regular is one who has ceased to care about winning GAD"

I still have a GAD and a FAD to claim that I won more than a month ago... I don't know why I don't claim it but I just can't be bothered and since I didn't set out to win with them I don't know what to pick... that Radiohead post I just wanted people to read and reply to it... and the extra GAD just ideas I would to be seen used.

I don't even try to win I just float around the forums posting guff and don't even post in prime as its all gaming Meh.

And I completely agree, although at the moment I am very annoyed because the bloody Windows OS just closed my window with a topic in it for no reason, and it was a long topic called 'Why Microsoft is Pantz'.... I wonder if it closed it for that reason.

He admits he 'doesn't play games' so with his many arguments about not winning etc.... why should SR give him a game to sell which he will never play?
