"Stop moaning would you?"

This is just me, speaking for me about my feelings towards those that feel it their concern to moan about winning/not winning GAD or FAD.
For newbies, JATS and those just too bloody stupid to work it out, here's how it works:

Someone posts.
Someone wins a game (because SR staff feel it worthy)
Someone tells their mate about it, he/she joins and posts, hoping to win / someone wins again and keeps posting.

It's good business.
And allows people to win free stuff now and then.

Why do some people feel the need to whine on and on and on about this?
This isn't aimed at only Dan, this is aimed at every single person that "i thought i'd win and i didnt and that sucks and that took an hour to do and that didnt even win and blahlblahblahblahblah"

Be damn grateful that a site (one of the only ones I've ever seen) gives you free stuff for doing nothing more than writing.
Who cares if someone comes here once and wins then leaves?
What business is it of anyone but SR employees?

And for anyone having difficulties with that question?

I haven't won GAD in months and months and months.
Ok, I won some DVDs and I'm grateful as heck to SR for that.
However, I haven't won in a while.
Do I moan?
Nope
Do I post any less because of it?
Nope

I post away like always, and it doesn't enter my head to think "Hey, cool I should win for that one"
How arrogant do you have to be to presume that you should win because you "spent ages writing that" or "i worked really hard on that"?
It's down to staff to choose winners.
Not you and not me.

What is with Dan making "Tony read this or you're fired"posts??
I'd like to see you try that crap in the world, you'd get your beehind spanked in 2 seconds flat.
You spoilt little child, be quiet and stop whinging.

Jesus, they even changed the rules so there are more chances to win, and some people STILL moan?
Grow up and behave like intelligent people instead of baby birds in the nest, lifting your head back and sqwauking every time momma bird flies past with food.

But surely half the fun of being on the forums, is getting to know the people here, rather than not caring who posted what? Surely you're bothered about what some people think of you - or you wouldn't have bothered enough to make this post, or even reply to this thread.

I think I was going somewhere with this... I'm not sure if I've made a point yet, but I've confused myself so I'll stop.. ;)

Hear, hear, Goatboy. I (as you may have noticed) don't contribute much to these forums, partly due to the amount of free time I don't have and partly due to my lack of literary prowess - I do read most of the posts and I ignore those I'm not interested in or write a few words on the ones that do catch my eye. I can honestly say that I have no desire to try and win a GAD or a FAD.

To be honest I think you should all leave Dan alone. He doesn't complain much, hardly at all. The same with the rest of us. We all complain sometimes but your all just ganging up on him.

To be honest I think you are all making a big deal out of nothing. Leave him alone or face up to the Vektor......oh and don't forget my mate, Bigmentalfranky.

Dan isn't spoilt. Dan doesn't get any money from his parents and has to pay for being online. Dan has complained ONCE about not winning himslef. Dan has also helped several other people to win, and they have done so.

Dan cannot afford to keep everything he wins, and due to not winning, he has not been able to spend as much time doing what he likes doing - discussing. And if I win something anyway, I can do what ever I like with it - I can eat my next (should there be one) GAD prize, I could give it away, in fact I can do whatever I like with it because once won it is mine. I don't have the time to play games, and what's this about many arguements about not winning? I think you'll find that I have complained once in a "hysterical to some" outburst after a 3200 word post not winning, the only times I am not happy are when people that cheat win, and my disgust is aimed at them.

Why should SR give anyone a game in the first place? The fact is I can do what I want with it. I may play it then hate it then sell it. Every is different. So just stop it ok?

I've blocked you because I'm not the type of person that likes chatting. I prefer the solitude I get on my PC, so I usually end up blocking people who keep bothering me. Don't take it the wrong way, it's just the way I am.

Okay...I realise this topic is all about not moaning, but I am going to moan anyway. About a different subject mind you.
