Being a dedicated PS2 fan and pre-ordering GT3 back when SR firsted started selling PS2 games(Last September). After 10 months of having GT2000(Now Known as GT3) on pre-order I finally got it. Then got a letter saying that I could get £10 back from the purchase price of GT3. Great I thought GT3 for £24.99. So I sent the letter back with my reciept that of course said GT2000(Gran Turismo) which had the date of order e.t.c.

Well looks like Sony doesnt think that having the reciept for GT2000 is vaild, even though I had pre-ordered it well before release date. They sent me a letter saying that the reciept they recieved wasnt for GT3 and they want me to send the proper reciept. You would think that Sony would know that the game had changed its name. They could have even checked with SR as the code was the same.

So I dont know whether to ring up and tell them this or just to leave it. Maybe I could try to blag a free game out of it as well.

Could get in touch with Short change. I should phone Sony up about this really as I have bought the game before the date on the offer. So if I complain or explain the situation they may send me one of there free games. Its worth complaing every so often then they will keep there standards up. If nobody complained they would drop there standards, if people complain we get a better service and they still get our custom.

Yeah, but where and with who?

As far as I know, the vouchers were only sent to those who pre-ordered a launch PS2 on Sony's official scheme.

The GT3 pack (without wheel) was priced at £289, which is why (I think) Sony offered the 'refund' of £10 to those who pre-ordered a PS2. Remember that GT2000 (as it was then) was supposed to be a launvh game, and that may have had something to do with it.

The new packs have effectively already had the £10 taken off of the price.
