Received it this morning - Had a little play and its cool but kinda daunting. The combat seemed a little wierd - Oh well.
I'll keep it - It'll get better once I read the instruction manuel.
Also - NEVER EVER ring Activision customer services. They suck balls.
When I received the game this morning - It got to the "Developed by Bioware" screen and just stopped. I rang them and they told me to take my Xbox back.
My ass was I gonna take my fooking Xbox back. I just went into memory manager - deleted the "KotOR" file and started again. Worked perfectly.

I got them off a dark jedi I killed on the wookiee planet. they're just shorter versions of the normal sabers, suited primarily to duel weapon combat. I haven't compared the two types to see if they're better though.
And I believe Goatboy has the Xbox version.
Might be something to do with the Darkside/Lightside thing mav?

I didn't think the game let you just attack civilians a la Morrowind; do you have the PC version?

Returning to Taris later in the game to find only the people of Underworld living in their paradise beneath the rubble would be an interesting plot development.
Here's hoping.

It's actually a lot more fulfilling. As a big fan of the films, I WANT to help the heroes, I WANT to be a Jedi Master. After growing up watching Luke Skywalker lead the republic to victory countless times, it doesn't feel right for me to go against the good guys.
Besides, you become a legend - people all around love and admire you.

I have two lightsabres.
What are short-lightsabres?

I think you have to slice inot the computer system and unlock all the doors that way.
Made me go back to the Light Side with helping the dead wookie etc etc, all my hard work down the pan.
I'm restarting and getting nasty from the get-go.
Jesus christ, why force me to be nice? I've murdered innocents, threatened beggars and attacked Mandalorians willy-nilly.
On the sith planet, I am doing the final trial, before I become a fully fledged sith! Have gone seriously dark side due to killing prisoners and torturing mandelorians. The final trial is solid though, there are three rooms - one with a puzzle, which I've done, one with a pool of acid (!?) and one with two massive monsters which rip me to bits. I found a poison sword in there but that's as much help as a feather duster. Note > Don't save over your game in here, once you're in you can't get out til you complete it!
On tatooine, I've made friends with the sand people. Sadly, the final task is to lure banthas to a krayt dragon, which upsets the sand people, and they kick my head in. I'm sure I can do this one, but lost enthusiasm after a few tries.
The water planet I haven't really touched on at all.
Any tips for the sith planet one would be great.
And that's it - the battle droid is a great character with some severe issues.
