I had a play last night - But kept on getting killed by those homo-kath hounds in the outback of Dantooine.

Same here. The game clock was at 58 hours. I was a full-on darkside twister.
Great game, but I didn't attain hardly any powers - the levelling-up seems too slow, and there are way too many pointless items that you never use.

I'm 100% evil and I've only done two planets. I look like the Emporer in Star Wars - my face is all mottled and sickly. Nice.

He's waiting, along with 2 dark jedi.
You come out, he rushes. All your force powers are useless, he blocks them all. And then he paralyses you/drains your life/chops you to jedi bits repeatedly.
All the while, 2 of his trainees pummel you like steak.
It's hard but I will never give up (except for coming to work)

Haven't got to that bit yet. I didn't have a chance to play as I was cataloguing my whole retro game collection. Boring, but it had to be done. Why don't you try setting Bastila to use her Force Shield? And then use the other two members to throw frag grenades while you drain his life force?
But I haven't battled him yet so I wouldn't know. I reckon you've already tried most permutations of attack with no results?

Went back to Tatooine to find Bastilla's mum. Great, done. Got the thing from the cave and now am faced with 2 Dark Jedi and Darth Branon.
How in the christ do I kill him? He just force-powers my stupid trio and they all die.
