Yes another hair topic by yours truly.

Since I entered this world with a full head of hair its always bothered me.

It just looks stupid on me... I've had all sorts of crap on it and then recently as it is extremely long its curling ARGH... so its getting sheered tommorrow... nice and short and gelled back just like that.

I had really cool hair once :-)

Anyway what a waste of space :-D

Night all.

It all depends on if I have heard of the product before. If its new and looks good then maybe I will try and see to give it my own opinion but I don't go on what the advert says.

If I may be remotely serious for a minute...

Are people *really* taken in by adverts?

I enjoyed these Harp adverts, just as I do many others (when I actually pay attention to them) but I can't say I've ever been influenced by them.

I've never drunk Harp in my life. The recent Carling adverts are great, but I can't stand it. I prefer Coke to Pepsi, but it's nothing to do with the adverts.

The Clorets advert with the Brummie Meerkat's was for me one of the funniest adverts ever made - but I've rarely bought them.

The only time I ever buy something as a result of an advert is if it's for something that is of interest to me but I didn't know existed - such as the recent Real Robots magazine.

Has anyone here ever been 'taken in' by an advert and been persuaded to switch brands *just* because of what the advert claims?
