"Getting really confused about these polyphony racing cars now....."

As far as I know there are these polys:

Poly001 : Black White and Yellow.
Poly001 : Green Black and Yellow.
Poly001 : Blue, like a Benneton perhaps.
Poly001 : Red and white, maybe the williams.
Poly002 : Silver with a big BP logo.
Poly002 : Yellow, kinda Jordanish.
Poly002 : Dark Blue, kinda Prost/Sauberish.


I am under the impression there are six polys, but I have seen 7 different colours.

Are there six unique cars, i.e. poly1 - poly6, all with different colours, or are the only differences the colours?

If you have seen, or own any polys with a different number/colour, please post them here in this topic!

Save after each race, and then come back to it later. It gets tough around about Laguna Seca, as our oil levels drop, but if you drop the gear ratios in sync, it ain`t a problem. That was the hardest challenge in maintaining a 100% win ratio.

I love that game.I almost finished the rally bits now. Just 4 more easy races left....

all this talk of GT3 and the F1 cars makes me want to play it again i have 2 F1 cars 1 which is all black if i remember rightly and a red and white 1.Just a shame i have so much damn coursework to do or i could play it more

I just need to do a few more championships, but the F1 one is too much for me, too damn long. :D

8 polyphony racing cars?? What`s going on? Can anyone add to this list, or even better, explain it?

I`d go for the Viper GTS

That car`ll let you win the "Like the Wind Tournament" and the Endurance Speedway race! That`ll give you a 787B and a 1 in 4 chance of getting a polyphony 1.

Yes, but I have three polys, two of which weren`t on the grid, which suggest more....

I won the Poly001. This was from the Dream Car championship in Pro League. I have the PSW guide book that came with the magazine a few months ago. Its the Japaense version that they do all the cars you win e.t.c. They show that for the Dream Car champ you can win the F090/S. This then means that Poly001 is F090/s. But at the end of the book it shows all the 6 F1 cars. The Poly001 doesnt look like any of the Japanese F1 cars. So it looks like that we may only have 2 the Poly001 and the Poly002.

I think I may have found a quick way through GT3, well a quicker way anyway.First of all pass all your tests, buy the MX5; then race this building tuning it up a until you have enough money to buy a Mitsubishi Lancer.Again race this and follow the same process, until you've tuned the car to the hilt.Then plonk some sports tyres on it and take it to the 150 Speedway Endurance Race, the sports tyres will keep you on the track for up the 50 laps before pitting, enabling you a guaranteed win.For this you'll receive the Polyphony 001, & 200,000 cr which =2000cr per lap,repeat this again and sell the next P001and you'll end up with 1,075,000=10,750 for a sub 30 sec lap.This is a real cash-cow, even if can be a bit tedious, but it's better than driving around in some old lemon for hrs.I did it this way and broke GT3 wide open, the F1 cars are fantastic!!!!ARTY

I would post more here too apart from im suffercating with work from 6th form and can only find time to play Evo 2.
