Star Wars is so over-branded that it's easy to become sick of it.

call me a big kid but I've always been a huge fan. I admit the films are going down hill, but the star wars universe will live on in better and better guises as long as LucasArts exists. GREAT

I have to say I prefer the Star Trek movies because the characters are more well-rounded.

I actually like the Star Wars Universe more than I like the films.
I'd go out on a limb to say the new films are utter guff and the old films are mildly diverting.
Empire Strikes back is the only one that I really enjoyed watching more than once. Sure the battle scenes at the end of Last Hope and Return of the Jedi are brilliant, but the bits before them bore the crap out of me.

The last 30 minutes of Episode 2 are seriously mind blowing.
