Could someone plz plz plz tell me the price of the game cube and how powerful is it? Is it as powerful as the ps2 and x-box cos if it wins the console war I wanna know if I could afford the game cube cos I dont like the look of the x box but ps2's are great

Thats not too much money is it I will be able to get one if It wins the war I dont think the games look that mind blowing though and I dont think nitendo are good in certain game genre's do you???

Pre ordered one a couple of weeks ago!! Hope there is none of the PS2 order malarky!! Doubt there will be mind!!

Ooooo the Gamecubes gonna rock n knock the socks off all the other consoles!

Developers luv it, the gamers luv it, oooo the Gamecube should/better do a lot better than the N64 did!

Oh, and as for the power of the console...

it doesn;t matter! After all, the N64 was more powerful than the PSX, but because the PSX was more developer friendly it had many more games of just as high a quality as the N64.

Likewise, the PS2 was more hard to program for than the DC, so the games are on par at the moment.

But if you really wanna know, the PS2 is less powerful than the GC, which is less poweful than Xbox... but that has no bearing on the quality of the games!

Errrr... bu you forget, that although the ACTUAL currency conversion with america is £1= $1.6 ish, the one companies use is £1=$1. For everything! Shoes, CDs, Games, cars... everything!

So, $200 over there, £200 here. The same with every other console!

Ive heard it will be between £149 - £199!! Expect it to be the later price!! Also the release date, although unconfirmed may well be the 9th March 2002!!

Yes it would be pointless but it's more than likely gonna happen! For some reason companies like to milk UK punters for all there worth, while stuffs helluva lot cheaper in Japan n America!

I think it should be around £150. Why would they add on another £50 more than the US Gamecube. It would be pointless.
